Hi hi! So this time I thought I would share with you one of my favorite smoothie recipes! If you know me then you might know how obsessed I am with smoothie and have been for a while. They are a great healthy way to get lots of nutrients into your body from all sorts of different combinations. There are endless amounts of types of smoothies one could make, this I'm going to share just one that I make pretty much every single morning.
- 1 Frozen Banana
- Frozen Mangoes
- Frozen Pineapples
- Frozen Peaches
- 1 Handful of Spinach
- 1 Tbl. Flaxseed Meal (I really like the Trader Joes Brand)
- Innate Vanilla Protein Powder
- Almond Milk (I like Traders Joes Unsweetened Vanilla) (2/3 Cup)
- Pineapple Juice (1/3 Cup)
I like to blend the whole thing together and pour it into a bowl, the toppings are the fun part! I am a big fan of chia seeds! I like the tapioca texture that they get in the smoothie I also have started to add various bare treats they really allow you to mix things up! One of my favorites is the coconut with chia seeds and vanilla! I usually like to add a couple slices of fresh fruit and then I always top the bowl with a drizzle of Agave Nectar!
I am a big fan of the nutri-bullet that you can purchase at Target but I have friends who really like the ninja and if you are willing to spend the extra money then you can never go wrong with a Vitamix. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what your favorite smoothie includes!
